Hello!

Welcome to The Perpetual Hunger, my name is Harriet and I'm the founder of this blog! This started as a project of mine when studying a masters in magazine journalism, and it has become somewhat of a hobby. 

As women, I believe we have been taught to have a perpetual hunger to be considered desirable and loveable by everyone but ourselves. 

This blog is about observing that hunger and rejecting it. 

My aim is to empower everyone who finds themselves defined by the rigid structures put in place by the patriarchal-capitalist society that we live in.
